More than 100 display tanks. Sharks, penguins, turtles and jellyfish are just some of the main attractions of its exciting layout.

The blue itinerary focuses on the history of the planet and its biological evolution, with its tanks reminding us of the species that have survived millions of years until the present day, such as the huge sharks, now considered living fossils.

A visit will take you around the world under the surface of the water, starting from the Mediterranean and continuing to the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans, through to the splendid and varied coral reef of the Red Sea, populated by extremely colourful organisms.

Here, all the Aquarium’s tanks should be observed particularly carefully, especially the smaller ones, that meticulously recreate a huge variety of mysterious environments pulsating with life. The Aquarium becomes not only a fascinating place, where beauty is exalted, but also a place for observing and discovering. It allows people greater contact with this world that, all too often, is much too far away.

Summer wouldn’t be summer without Aquafan!
Aquafan in Riccione has been on the crest of the wave for 29 summers. It is the most famous water park in Europe thanks to its spectacular water games, numerous events and its ability to still be, even to this day, a place where fashions and trends begin.

Starting with 70,000 m² in 1987 (the year it opened), it now boasts over 90,000 m² with new games, more parking facilities and surprises every day and night.

By day, fun is guaranteed thanks to the fantastic slides, which are 3 km long in total: from Kamikaze to Extreme River, from Speedriul to River Run, from Surfin’hill to Twist and Tobogas right through to the latest addition, inaugurated in 2010, StrizzaCOOL.

It is the great family-friendly attraction: it allows 3-4 people at a time to descend on a rubber dinghy. Costing 3 million euro, it is the park’s biggest slide and its main feature is that it offers two games in one: an adrenalin-packed descent and another gentler descent with tunnels and bends for a rafting-type effect.

Together with lots of other water games and the huge wave pool, Aquafan also offers three areas specially fitted out for our young guests, with kid-friendly slides and entertainment. The most important of these is Focus Junior Beach, the area dedicated to the world of Focus. Here you’ll find Noah’s Ark, where the more adventurous kids can climb to the top before descending to the pool below, using 1 of 4 blue slides (3 open and 1 closed ones), under the watchful eye of lots of the cute animals that live in and around the ark.

A few metres from Focus Junior Beach is Elephant’s Pool which is perfect for young kids. The other area for children is Antarctic Baby Beach, a pool where kids can have fun as if they were at the South Pole, sliding… but without any ice! It is watched over by the huge polar bear who supervised his little friends as they have fun and safely descend inside two parallel mini slides. And then there are relaxation areas, shops, restaurants, huge green areas, food outlets and all kinds of services and facilities.
